Privacy Policy

This is The Taylor Made Advertising data protection and privacy notice, which is available at the website:  https://taylormadeadvertising.co.uk/

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy notice will tell you how we look after your personal data and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. It is important that you read this privacy notice and any other privacy notice we may give you on specific occasions when we are processing personal data about you, so you know how and why we are using your personal data.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force across the European Union (EU) in May 2018. It sets out rules that govern how businesses manage and protect the personal data they hold. This notice sets out the arrangements that Taylor Made Advertiser has made to comply with this legislation.

Our privacy policy embodies these key principles: lawfulness, fairness and transparency; purpose limitation; data minimisation; accuracy; storage limitation; integrity and confidence; and accountability.

Enquiries

If you contact Taylor Made Advertising to enquire about our services or products, any contact and personal details you choose to share at that point (typically your name, email address and telephone number) and any messages that we exchange will be stored in our email system, which is protected by a password. If we decide not to work together, you can ask us to delete your contact information and all our messages. If we agree to do business together, then the conditions described in the rest of this document will apply.

You may request that we remove your data from our database at any time.

Your personal data

Taylor Made Advertising may collect and store your personal data so that we can communicate with you, including your name, job title, email address, postal address and telephone number.

Taylor Made Advertising would ordinarily keep this data after working with you. If we work with you more than once, we may need your contact details again. If you wish to have any of this data deleted, please let us know.

Invoicing

If you are paying Taylor Made Advertising for a service or product, we must send you an invoice that includes your name and postal address, as required by our tax authority (HMRC). This falls under the ‘lawful basis’ of GDPR. The information will be stored in our email system and on the invoice in our digital filing system. We keep invoicing records for at least five years after the service or product was provided.

Agreeing a project

Taylor Made Advertising sets out the terms and conditions of a contract with a client by email, based on the information provided by the client on what services or products are required, and usually in the same email that provides a cost estimate/quotation for the services or products. We make clear in this email that acceptance of the cost estimate/quotation constitutes the contract between Taylor Made Advertising and the client. Taylor Made Advertising also offers clients the opportunity to ask for any adjustments to the estimated/quoted terms before agreeing to proceed.

Your work

https://taylormadeadvertising.co.uk/ internet network is behind a firewall and a password-protected PC is used to store your files. We use anti-malware and anti-virus software and other security arrangements appropriate to its business and its risks.

On occasion, file-sharing/cloud storage applications are used, such as Dropbox and WeTransfer – for example, if a file is too large to send as an email attachment. We will always ask for your consent before doing this.

Files, emails and other written communication, if relevant, relating to completed projects are kept on the same PC. It is useful to have this record of past projects in case we work with the same client again. If we don’t, we eventually archive these files and emails, and delete older archives because of lack of storage space.

If a client wants us to delete any of its files immediately, or has any other requests about this storage, please let us know.

If you contacted Taylor Made Advertising about working together but we decide not to proceed for any reason, we may keep the information provided in your query, including contact details, anything you tell us about the nature of your project and the type of service or product you have asked about. This information is kept by Taylor Made Advertising for business analysis purposes only and is never shared. If you do not want us to keep this information, please let us know.

Marketing

Taylor Made Advertising may use the contact details you have provided to contact you again about obtaining further work. Please let us know if you do not want this.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with GDPR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time.

We keep a list of possible future clients who we intend contacting for marketing purposes. This contains only publicly available details (e.g. from an organisation’s website), and occasionally individuals’ names and contact details that have been given by the organisation itself (e.g. when calling to ask who to speak to about obtaining work). This information is recorded for https://taylormadeadvertising.co.uk/ use only and is never shared with anyone else.

Website

If you use the contact form on the Taylor Made Advertising website, any data you’ve chosen to include in your message is forwarded to admin@taylormadeadvertising.co.uk. This is then stored as described above.

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to save your name and email address in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.

If you ask us to
